Edith Flack Ackley was a doll maker from the 1930's.  She encouraged women to sew dolls and sell them.  Her dolls are simple and fun to make.  Her legacy is the many people today who make and collect her dolls.  Here is my offering.

She is dressed in a vintage styled dress with hand smocking details on the bodice. Her pretty white collar and cuffs have been trimmed with a hand embroidered bullion stitch.
